My name is Sean Israelski, a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with Howard Hanna | Rand Realty, and client-oriented relationship extraordinaire! What motivates me is forging new and building upon existing relationships to create the best possible outcome for all parties in any transaction that I am involved in.
With a background in the medical device and financial executive recruitment industries, I have both the sales and negotiation skills required to navigate the complex environment of real estate sales and purchases while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
I grew up in the heart of the Hudson Valley, in Goshen, NY, where I also now currently work. Although I left for college at the University of Vermont and ended up staying in Vermont for an additional four years after my graduation to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors such as co-founding an eco-friendly snowboard company, I always knew I wanted to return home to the Hudson Valley and contribute to the vibrant community here.
When I finally came home, I followed my father’s footsteps in Orthopedics (he was a surgeon). I secured a job in medical device sales, where I learned the art of sales in stressful and critical situations. As I would see in the operating room, the instruments and implants I sold meant more than a paycheck; They were life-improving and sometimes saving for the patients we served here in the Hudson Valley.
After several years of working in the medical device field, I was offered a new challenge which I knew would help hone in a crucial sales skill in which I could use some help: negotiation. I took a position with an executive recruitment firm which focused on legal and compliance positions in the financial services industry. Recruitment requires solid understanding of the industry and a good pitch, but most importantly tough negotiations to get those you are working with the best opportunity possible for them and their family - not unlike real estate sales.
After officially setting my routes permanently in the Hudson Valley with the purchase of my first home, I became enthralled with the whole real estate process. I found similarities between what I had always done in my professional life: entrepreneurship, sales, negotiation, and most fun for me, relationship building! It became the most logical next step in my career and in January 2024 I acquired my real estate license.
I look forward towards embarking on this journey, utilizing the skill set I have acquired throughout my career, and helping my community here in the Hudson Valley achieve their real estate dreams!
Best Regards,
Sean Israelski
